Celebrate summer with a Keralan-themed lunch at Avani Wines, featuring chef Mischa Tropp

Are you ready for an unforgettable dining experience this summer? Look no further than the Mischa Tropp series at Avani Wines! Renowned Melbourne chef Mischa Tropp is returning to his roots and serving up a traditional Keralan themed feast in collaboration with family-owned winery Avani Wines. Tropp's menu is inspired by the flavors of his childhood and will be available for a limited time from December 26 to January 7.

Guests can expect a series of snacks and entrees before indulging in a true Keralan family-style sharing feast of fish, sides, and rice, all served in a banana leaf. The meal will be finished off with a delicious dessert. Traditional menu items include Masala Dosa with peanut chutney and gunpowder podi, Goat Pathiri Curd (curried goat in hot rice dough pastry), and Calamari Thoran (wood fired calamari with fresh stir-fried coconut, fennel, and curry leaf).

Avani Wines is known for their minimal intervention approach to winemaking and for producing wines that pair well with bold flavors. The Mischa Tropp series will offer curated wine pairings to complement the Keralan feast, including the Amrit Skin-Contact Pinot Gris and limited release Amrit Pet-Nat Sparkling.

Putting the spotlight on Southern Indian food with a Keralan themed feast series will showcase some of the incredible flavors from the region paired with our wines."
