A Global Organic Wine Lineup Lands at West Side Place
Melbourne’s wine scene is about to get a serious organic shake-up. West Side Wine, the city’s newest drinking haunt, is making its entrance with Taste with the Makers, a one-night-only tasting event featuring some of the best organic wines and spirits from around the globe.
On Sunday, 23 February, nine producers from Italy, France, the UK, and Australia will pour over 30 organic and biodynamic wines and spirits, offering guests a rare chance to sip and chat directly with the makers. At just $50 a ticket, it’s a pretty small price to pay for an evening of unfiltered insights and organic delights.
A Sneak Peek at West Side Wine
West Side Wine is set to open at West Side Place on Spencer Street, bringing a sharp focus on certified organic wines and spirits. Thanks to a two-year partnership with FAB Organic Wine & Spirits, this new bar will serve a carefully chosen selection of bottles sourced from across the globe. Expect everything from character-driven biodynamic reds to small-batch organic gins—each bottle reflecting a commitment to sustainable winemaking.
Before its official launch, Taste with the Makers will give Melburnians a sneak preview of what’s in store. The event, hosted in collaboration with FAB, is all about connecting drinkers with the people behind the wines, bridging the gap between farm, barrel, and bottle.
