If you’re looking for a semi-healthy sweet treat, why not try organic frozen yoghurt from Cacao Green. I decided to pop into their new store that has just opened up on Bourke Street opposite my work! The shop looks sleek and spiffy with all its new furniture and fit out.

There isn’t too much difficult decision making involved when it comes to picking the yoghurt flavour, I can only remember four (original/plain, green tea and lemon ginger.) They also had a seasonal pomegranate flavour. After you have picked a flavour you can add toppings, from fresh fruit, compotes to chocolate chips and granola. My favorite topping would have to be the cheesecake bites.

This yoghurt chain is a fairly new franchise from Melbourne/Victoria. The sleek and spiffiness of this new shop fit out however, does not cover up the feeling you get from every chain cafe/restaurant.

I prefer going to boutique cafés down laneways, but my tastebuds were fixed with with this organic frozen yoghurt. Quick, easy and yummy.
